This year marks the 17th year for Susan G. Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure. The race will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2010 in downtown Little Rock.

Since 1992, the The Komen Arkansas race has distributed $9.7 million throughout the state, with 75% funding Arkansas educational programs and 25% funding national research grants.

If you’re interested in registering a team for this year’s race be sure to submit your packets by the deadline. Online registration will be open until Wednesday, October 13th. If you’re mailing in your team registration packet, make sure that the envelope is postmarked no later than Thursday, September 16th, 2010.
