Save Space with Wall Mounts

Generally, garages store cars, leaving little room for bulky storage units. Most home owners wiggle around their vehicles and use our garages to store everything that we can fit into them (tools, toys, left over cans of paint) creating a need for storage space. The solution? Wall storage.

Wall mount storage is a great option because it frees up floor space while making room for all of those little odds and ends. Common wall mount storage solutions include racks, slatted systems with hooks and baskets, and cabinetry. Racks are generally inexpensive and provide sturdy storage for relatively bulky items, however, they may seem unsightly. Conversely, cabinetry allows you to close the doors on clutter. Both techniques limit overhead accessibility. Slatted systems lay flat against the wall, making the most of floor and overhead space but slatted systems are limited by what they can hold.
